A selection of photographs from the nyc series. This project began with my move to the city in 2013 and is a collection of environmental portraits of strangers I had met along the way. The process involved finding and meeting native New Yorkers, spending a night in the privacy of their homes and photographing them in their most vulnerable state of sleep. Each image is a long exposure photograph, exposed by the trails of light found in each individual’s bedroom.
